CBET/CDACC CURRICULUM AND OS

OCCUPATIONAL STANDARDS (OS)
Occupational Standards are the requirements from the world of work which are analyzed and documented, taking into account international benchmarking. OS describes the best practice by bringing together skills, knowledge and values. OS is also the bases for assessment for an
individual for competence certification. For any given level of qualification, the OS consists of competencies that an individual must achieve to enable the individual be certified as competent. The OS has;

  1. BASIC UNITS OF COMPETENCY (Demonstrate)
  2. CORE UNITS OF COMPETENCY (Perform)

CURRICULUM (CU)
Curriculum is an interactive system of instruction and learning with specific goals, content, methods, materials and assessments to effectively support the instruction and learning. CBET curriculum is competency based and allows multiple entry and exit to the course. Therefore, it is designed and organized with an outline of learning outcomes, suggested delivery methods, training/learning resources and methods of assessing the trainee’s achievement at each entry point.
