Official phased re-opening dates January 2021 TVET students

We have summarized complete phased re-opening dates for various groups of students at polytechnics, colleges, technical institutes and all TVETS institution. Earlier because of education being disrupted by the pandemic The ministry of education through the TVETs body had released the phased reopening timetable with students starting to learn at classes from October 5th.

The earlier phased reopening of TVETS institution year 2020 was as follows

After the schools were opened for phased reopening the timetable was revised and summarized as follows for most TVET institutions;

Students who joined schools from 2020 January intake, 2020 September intake, 2021 January intake and all those students who were on industrial attachment to report back to school on 22nd February. This is after all students currently learning at the institutions complete their KNEC examinations.

For all those students who were currently back at schools are to report back to school on date 6 January 2021.

The TVET institution had earlier braked from school on December 18 2020 for Christmas break. This earlier closure for schools had been necessary in order to give management enough time to put in place the Ministry of education and ministry of health COVID-19 protocols in readiness for the January 2021 reopening.

The ministry of education wishes all trainees and trainers happy holidays and safe stay at their respective areas of residence.
