Online learning scheduled for April 6th for all TVETS institutions, see the full details here concerning this and the scheduled KNEC exams set for June 2021

Following a meeting recently held by the state department of vocational and technical training and all the stakeholders, the office of the principal secretary has officially released a circular addressed to;

  • All principals of national polytechnics
  • All principals of Technical and vocational colleges
  • All principals of vocational and technical courses

The letter dated 1st April 2021 with the title CONTINUATION OF LEARNING/TRAINING IN TECHNICAL & VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING (TVET) INSTITUTIONS, quoted below

‘’Further to my circular ref. MOE/VTI/ADM/CONF/2/2 (66) dated 26th March,2021 and my meeting with principals and also taking into consideration the Kenya national Examination council (KNEC) exams due in July 2021, the date for all TVET institutions to start online classes has been reviewed to 6th April 2021.

The letter further advised those addressed to proceed and take appropriate action as directed, this letter was copied to Prof George A. O. Magoha EGH the cabinet secretary Ministry of education and Mr. Tom Mulati Ag Director Directorate of technical Education.

All students and trainees are now expected to receive further instructions from their respective institutions through memos and circulars. This directions will include how the trainees will begin their online classes, requirements and the necessary arrangements. The earlier Kenya national examination council (KNEC) exams which was scheduled for July 2021 is not expected to change as the online classes kicks off as from 6th April 2021.

We are a group of graduates from Kenya school of TVET which is tasked with Training of Technical Trainers to teach in secondary schools and tertiary institutions, Implementation of various syllabi under TVET Programs in collaboration with stakeholders.
